Reporting: Data Quality - How to Correct Housing Move-in Date Errors Flagged on the Data Completeness Report

The information provided by the HMIS Data Completeness Report is intended to help you make corrections to client HMIS records within Community Services. Please contact the AKHMIS Help Desk for the fastest response to any questions. 

Permanent Housing ONLY: Housing Move-in Date

Housing Move-in Date (HMI) only applies to Permanent Housing (PH) projects and is not required before project exit.


These flags are scored on PERMANENT HOUSING PROJECT ENROLLMENTS ONLY

Housing Move-in (HMI) Date

Flagged if occurring before the Project Start Date OR after the Project Exit Date


Exit without HMI = the client exited the project without being housed


Still in Program = the enrollment is still active (no Exit Date)

Remove date (if no HMI)

OR 

enter a valid date

Project Entry

OR 

Interim Assessment that is dated on or after the HMI date

 

Street Outreach ONLY: Engagement Date

Engagement Date only applies to Street Outreach (SO) projects and is not required before 

project exit.

An enrollment in a Street Outreach project with a valid Engagement Date will be shown in all Details tabs and will be scored like all other enrollments (but Engagement Date itself is not involved in scoring or the denominator).

An enrollment in a Street Outreach project without a valid Engagement Date will only appear in the Detail SO Not Engaged Tab of the report. These records are NOT scored and are NOT included in any aggregate scoring in this report.

Please ensure that any client that appears in the SO Not Engaged tab is truly NOT engaged.

If client is engaged, enter a valid Engagement Date to ensure they will be included in other reports.
