Data Element

The Family Type column describes the composition of the household, and flags situations where a child(ren) may have been left unattached to a household

Data Element Type

• M - Client/s missing a Date of Birth; unable to determine household type
• sA - Single Adult
• sC - Single Child
• A - 2 or more adults with no children
• C - 2 or more children, no adults
• AC - 1 or more adults AND 1 or more children
• ACM - 1 or more adults AND 1 or more children AND 1 or more clients missing DoB
•  CM - 1 or more children AND 1 or more clients missing DoB

Data Quality

The Data Completeness report flags if sC / C (every member of the Group ID is a child) AND there is a HoH error.  To correct: attach child(ren) to an existing household OR designate the child as the HoH, if true.
