Data Quality: Correct Project Start Date Or End Date


To Correct the Project Start Date

1.     EDA to the correct provider and open the client’s record. (Note: Remember to set the back date mode when correcting this error.)

2.     Navigate to the Entry/Exit tab, click the edit pencil   to the left of the Project Start Date. The Edit Project Start Data pop-up window will appear. Click Save & Continue.

3.     At the top of the Entry/Exit Data window, click the edit pencil  next to the start date for the correct client.

4.     In the Edit Project Start Date pop-up window, uncheck all clients except the client with the error.

5.     Change the Project Start Date to the date the client entered, then click Save & Continue.

Note:  The client’s Project Start Date should either be on or after their date of birth.

6.     Confirm that Entry Assessment data for the client is correct, then click Save & Exit.

Note:  When changing the Project Start or Exit Date assessment answers may change to reflect what the database knows to be true as of the new Project Start/Exit Date and timestamp.

 

 To Correct the Project Exit Date

1.     EDA to the correct provider and open the client’s record. (Note: Remember to be in back date mode when correcting this error.)

2.     Navigate to the Entry/Exit tab, click the edit pencil  to the left of the Exit Date. The Edit Exit Data pop up will appear. Click on Save & Continue.

3.     At the top of the Entry/Exit Data window, click the edit pencil  .

4.     In the Edit Project Exit Date pop-up window, uncheck all clients except the client with the error.

5.     Change the Project Exit Date to the date the client exited, then click Save & Continue.

   

6.     Confirm that Exit Assessment data for the client is correct, then click Save & Exit.

NOTE:  When changing the Project Start or Exit Date assessment answers may change to reflect what the database knows to be true as of the new Project Start/Exit Date and timestamp.
