Launch Business Objects

1
In the upper right corner of any page while in WellSky Community Services (under Enter Data As and Back Date Mode), click on  Connect to BusinessObjects. BusinessObjects will open in a new tab in the user's browser.

Open Folder System

2
In the left column, click on Public Folders.

3
In the main portion of the window, click on anchorage_live_folder. This is the equivalent of the "Public Folder" in ART.
4
Within the anchorage_live_folder, click on the folder containing the report that needs to be run.  Continue clicking on the appropriate folder(s) in the same manner until the report to be run is listed on the screen.

Select Report Action

5
On the row for the report to be run, click on the ••• button on the right to open the options menu for the individual report. Then select the appropriate option from the dropdown. Descriptions of the three options are available below the screenshot.

View

Viewing reports in BusinessObjects is a good option when wanting to quickly see what a report looks like, when needing to use input controls, or if a saved copy of the report is not needed in the report run history for 60 days.

Schedule

Except in limited circumstances, ICA generally recommends using the Schedule functionality when running reports in BusinessObjects. This allows the report to run in the background, rather than require the user  to watch it load, and also ensures a copy of the report is saved in the History for the individual report for 60 days, and a copy will be sent to the user's BI Inbox for 365 days (assuming the BI Inbox is selected as a delivery destination).

History

Using the History function of BusinessObjects allows the user to see the previously scheduled copies of the individual report. This can be helpful when trying to find a copy of a report has been ran by the user within the last 60 days.

What about the other options in the dropdown?

The other options available in the dropdown menu either are not used within the AKHMIS or should only be utilized by the ICA Reporting Team.
