Privacy and Security: How to Indicate That a Client Record is Unshared

Where do you indicate That a client declines data sharing?

When a client declines to share their data in AKHMIS, you must remove the Statewide Visibility Group from their client record. Then, to make it easy to recognize that this is an unshared record, enter "Unshared" in the Alias field.

How?

1.      Remember to set your EDA, then open the client's record. Go to the Client Profile tab.

2.      Click the pencil to the left of Client Record. Now you can edit the Alias field!

3.      Enter "Unshared" in the Alias field.
