Tech Support: Password Reset - Self Service Option for Community Services

Locked out of Community Services (formerly ServicePoint)? There is now a self-service "Forgot Password" function! The following article outlines how to reset a password, and how to update the email address on a user profile. If you do not find the password reset email in your Inbox, be sure to also check your spam or junk folder. If the password reset function is not working, please contact the AKHMIS Help Desk right away! Help Desk hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am 5:00 pm Alaska Time (Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am 5:00 pm and 9:00 am 2:00 pm in the summer), and we make sure to prioritize password resets so a user can quickly get back to data entry with minimal disruption.

Utilizing the forgot password function in Community Services

  On the Community Services login page, click Forgot Password.

In the pop-up that appears, enter your username, and click Send. If you cannot remember your username, please contact the AKHMIS Help Desk to request that information.

Check your email inbox for a message from donotreply@wellsky.com A password reset email will be sent to the email address attached to the user profile. Click on the link in that message or copy and paste it into your browsers address bar. For security reasons, the link will expire after 15 minutes. If you are unable to see the message in your inbox, check your Spam or Junk folder, or reach out to the AKHMIS Help Desk to verify that your email address has been saved correctly in ServicePoint.

Create a new password When creating a new password, note that it must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one symbol. Type the new password into both boxes before clicking Save.

Reminder: Storing/saving your Community Services Password in your browser is not permitted.

  

Locked out of AKHMIS because an incorrect password was entered too many times

If a user is locked out of AKHMIS because an incorrect password was entered too many times, please email AKHMIS Help Desk to request a password reset. Be sure to include a note that an incorrect password was entered too many times.

  

Update your email address in Community Servcies

To update and/or confirm which email address is saved in your ServicePoint profile, click on the gear icon next to your name.

In the User Profile pop-up that appears, update the E-mail field, then click Save & Exit. A user can manually reset their password from this pop-up as well.

 

Note: If there is no email address in the system or the email address is invalid the self-service password reset option will not be available.
