Data Entry: How to Set Up Express Check In

The shelter unit list should not have any clients in it before you start the check-in process.

1.       Click on Shelters in the navigation pane.

2.       Provider - the information should match the EDA project. If it does not match or is not correct, go back and set the EDA correctly.

3.       Select Unit List – click on the down arrow in the selection box and click on the appropriate list.

4.       Click Submit.

5.       The Shelters Dashboard will appear.

6.       Click Express Check In.

7.       Date In:  Check the Date In information to ensure that shelter stays are being recorded for the correct date. 

Remember that Shelters does not allow you to use Back Date, so the Date In serves as your Back Date.
