Data Quality: How to Fix Shelter Stay Dates Without Deleting the Shelter Stay

  1. Navigate to the client record in Clients that needs to be updated. Select the Service Transactions tab.
  2. Click View Shelter Stays.
  3. Select the magnifying glass icon next to the Shelter Stay record that needs to be edited.
  4. Click Edit Shelter Stay.
  5. Click Service Transactions tab (this tab is different than the Service Transactions tab in Clients).
  6.  Select the Shelter Stays tab.
  7. Select the pencil icon next to the Shelter Stay that needs to have the dates edited.
  8. Edit the Date In to reflect the date when the client’s shelter stay began.
  9. Edit the Date Out to reflect the date when the client’s shelter stay ended.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Click Save & Exit.
